RESIDENT ANAESTHETIST CONSULTANT

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meeting patients before their procedure to conduct pre-operative examinations
  • Determining appropriate anaesthetic or sedation for patient based on pre-operative examination and prior medical history.
  • Explaining anaesthetic process to patients and re-assuring them before they are led into the operating theatre under their supervision.
  • Administering appropriate type of anaesthesia (local, regional, general or sedation) to patients via a variety of methods including inhalation or intravenous injection.
  • Recording vital details, including type of anaesthesia administered dosage, method of administration and patient’s condition.
  • Monitoring patients throughout their medical procedure and dealing immediately with any problems that arise.
  • Working co-operatively with other medical professions, including surgeons and theatre nurses to manage patients from end-to-end and deal with chronic pain complaints etc.

 

Requirements:

  • MBBS or equivalent from recognized institutions approved by Ministry of Health/Malaysia Government (JPA).
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years postgraduate specialist qualifications Registered with Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and National Specialist Register (NSR) Possess a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
  • Must be a team player and have the ability to work independently.
  • Clean record of professional practices against any legal claim.

 

 

SALES & MARKETING OFFICER / EXECUTIVE

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To achieve / exceed allocated sales targets set by the Hospital consistently through effective and efficient selling activities in the assigned area.
  • To promote and present healthcare services with a good command of product knowledge in line with company expectations and implement promotional strategies in accordance to product marketing platforms.
  • To build and maintain good rapport with specialist consultants, medical doctors, nurses and identified key personnel.
  • To organize promotional activities or video presentations in respective area and participate in scientific or marketing activities wherever applicable.
  • Participate in business development by creating effective business plans for business expansion.
  • To report to the General Manager and assist in all marketing functions end to end.
  • Should be able to come in and jump start immediately and learn the healthcare industry standard, designing, market trends.
  • Other works designated.

 

 

MEDICAL OFFICER

Requirements:

  • MBBS or its equivalent from a recognized institution approved by the Ministry of Health Malaysia
  • Registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (full registration)
  • Possess a valid Annual Practicing Certificate.
  • Minimum  3 years experience
  • Experience in handling medical and surgical emergencies.  Antenatal scanner experience would be an added advantage.

 

 

 

STAFF NURSE (OPERATION THEATER)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients prior to surgery and alleviate their concerns
  • Gather all supplies needed for the operation
  • Assume responsibility of keeping the operating room sterilized
  • Position and prepare patient on operating table
  • Pass medical instruments or other objects to the surgeon during operation
  • Monitor patient’s vital signs to detect anomalies
  • Evaluate patient in postoperative phases
  • Adhere to safety standards and precautions
  • Assume duties within or out of the sterile field as assigned

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as operating room nurse(circulating and scrub)
  • Excellent knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques
  • Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions
  • In-depth knowledge of surgical operation procedures
  • Outstanding organizational ability
  • A great team player with excellent communication skills
  • Cool tempered with emotional and physical stamina
  • Diploma in nursing and valid licence 

 

 

SUPERVISOR BUSINESS OFFICE UNIT / BILLING

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the billing functions, including the initiation of goals and procedures, overseeing daily operations, and coordinating office efforts to expedite payment of accounts
  • Supervises hourly employees in performance of tasks associated with billing and collection from third party payers. Monitors billing processes of billing staff to assure that billing is correct and timely.
  • Reviews and resolves issues related to claim generations, clean claim ratios, rejected, denied billing.  Determines the accuracy of charge capture, missing charges, late charges, covered and non-covered charges.
  • Ensures that all required information is attached to every billing form, TAR.
  • Ensures appropriate and professional communication with payers and patients.
  • Elevates issues with payers and reports improvement as appropriate
  • Serves as a resource to staff by answering questions, assisting with problems, and providing training as necessary.
  • Implements quality and performance improvement measures for the business office
  • Participants in the development of unit policies and procedures.
  • Ensures timely submission and acceptance of claims to all payers.
  • Must be capable of performing all tasks required of hourly billing and collection employees
  • Uses a wide variety of communication formats to keep staff regularly informed and trained with one to one team meetings
  • Reviews system generated billing, collections and medical records abstracting reports to monitor weekly collections, billed and unbilled accounts. 

Requirements:

  • Degree / Diploma in Business or equivalent required
  • Minimum of two (2) years of previous supervisory billing experience in hospital setting or five years (5) experience in billing and collection in health care facility or equivalent
  • Expert knowledge of billing software program is required
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to foster an environment that nurtures collaboration, teamwork, and mutual respect
  • Ability to work independently and perform critical work under deadlines
  • Information needs of the hospital clinical and administrative departments, contract, insurance, government, and government funded payers
  • Credit and collection requirements to effect timely follow-up and resolution of accounts receivable balances
  • Demonstrated record of continuing education/training and professional development
